2 Propaganda adds
The first advertisement is for K-9 Advantage flea and tick medicine for dogs.
Name calling- The one puppy has a clear blue bandana and runs by others who do not and are itching, and says "there may be bugs on some of you mugs, but there ain't no bugs on me."Trying to infer that the other puppies have bugs because they don't use K-Avantage.
Transfer- The advertisement is trying to transfer some of the warm, sweet, emotional attachments we have for puppies to there product.
Card Stacking- In this advertisement they say this about their product, "K-9 Advantage is more effect than other products and killing and repelling bugs".Then they name the other product and they say "Frontline is not effective and does not repel mosquitos"
Assertion-The advertisement say "Frontline is not effective and does not repel mosquitos". They assert this with no proof of any kind, no studies that indicate this statement to be true.
Advertisement #2 is 3rd on this video
Bandwagon-They are trying to get people to associate with the large number of players, doing really cool moves and getting the night ball. There are good people in white (the nike people) and bad guys in black. They want you to feel like part of the Nike team.
Testimonials- This advertisement is using a well known pro football player to endorse their product. He is giving his testimony on how well the product works for him. The advertisers hope this will influence others to trust him because he is a celebrity.
