1) investigators from FBI and Secret Service are searching for bullets in the south wall of the white House. Tuesday night a car drove by with a gunman who fired an automatic weapon at the South wall of the White House. Oscar Ortego Hernandez was arrested for the shooting. the president and his family were not at home at the time of the incident.
2) Penn State officials have announced that there are more victims than originally thought. Sandusky may have raped as many as 18 boys in 15 years. An attorney for the boys, says this case has some paralleled the Catholic Church incidents with the way the institution handled the situation. Choosing to protect the organization rather than the children.
3) Washington is holding meetings with the heads of Fannie May and Freddie Mac on the issue of the outrageous salaries and benefits of some of the top managers. There is great inquiry into why these company heads would think it was okay to pay obscene amounts for salaries and bonus payments, when the companies received 169 billion dollars in taxpayer bail outs.
